TaylorMade r7 460 TP Driver Golf Club

Great club increase my drive distance and accuracy. I love the draw that the club makes with every drive. This club made my hanicap drop by 5 strokes.

Hits it so straight and far, as a collegiate golfer I have hit many drivers and Taylormade stands above them all. I recommend getting the TP version for anyone with a handicap under 5. The TP really does step up the shaft and is well worth the extra money.

I LOVE the driver, I am a lover of the game in general. I made my mind up to purchase one more set of clubs. I choose Taylor Made because a friend let me swing his GBC's, they felt great. Now I have a complete set of Taylor Made GCB Max with the Tour Preferred Driver and Woods (all of which were purchased via eBay). Of course the clubs don't make the golfer, but it certainly feels great to play with a set of clubs made of the quality of T/Made when you friends/family are playing with other top name brand clubs (I want name them because this is all about T/Made and me).

I may never achieve the score that I want, but I feel confident everytime I step on a course. Confidence and trust in your equipment means you enjoy the time spent trying to accomplish your goals. I've always been able to drive/out drive the best of those individuals I play with. Now I find myself trying to understand why I made a bad shot and practicing at the driving range to understand how hand placement is going to determine my shot. I have been told that I have a tendency to overpower the ball, with my T/Made I've learned to true meaning of let the club do the work. I went to the range where I practice and played a nine hole par 3 course, on a cold (40 degrees) windy day, all my shots were true to yardage based on the recommended distance of the club. Basically where I visioned the ball going was where it landed. Of course practice is time and I believe this time will show its rewards this spring and summer.

Finally T/Made was not my first choice because I thought of Nike, and Calloway, but I am very pleased with my decision to purchase T/Made. Now if eBay or T/Made could only package the true game of golf, I would be the first in line to make a purchase. They both have and continue to make my DREAMS come TRUE. As you maybe able to tell in reading this review I'm walking tall with a big smile on my face, because I understand what a great deal I got. I was so proud of my purchase I took my driver to a local dealer and his response was "Where did you get this? We can't/don't stock T/Made Tour Preferred equipment." At the same time a woman at the store wanted to purchase it while he was holding it. So I say thank you again, for this driver and other items available to us at a cost that is affordable. I love TP Taylormade stuff and I love the V2 shaft in everything I have hit so I decided to mix the two and I have no regrets. I can rip it hard and the shaft keeps up, keeps the ball boring with no spin, and the head sits nuetral to open at address. Nike's go too high and Titleist's aren't forgiving enough. I can't wait to play my next round with this beast.

Quality... Now if only my game was as good as my clubs. I have played Wilson and Ping but Taylor Made clubs just seem to make contact better. How often I play is a limiting factor but these clubs just seem more forgiving. Therefore, I enjoy the game more, so I play more often. Agreed, this could by psychological, but I think not. Placibo clubs can't be that effective. Sooner or later I would experience what other clubs had delivered. With Taylor Made clubs, so far so good (good being a relative term). I don't think someone would ever regret a choice of Taylor Made clubs but how serious they take the game and themselves...maybe.
