LOOK OUT FOR CHINESE COUNTERFEITS ON eBAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, I actually give the Taylormade R7 460 driver an excellent rating because if you happen to purchase a REAL one off of eBay, then you have one of the best clubs in golf.
Unfortunately, I, too, was a victim to some Chinese piece of #%@* selling fakes before Christmas '06. The bogus seller didn't hijack another seller to rip me off, he simply poached some other legitimate ad off of eBay and passed it off as his own. The cheap counterfeit I ended up with isn't worth the plastic prize you get out of a box of Cocoa Puffs.
Here are some tips for future bidders for Taylormade (or other brands for that matter) golf clubs:
1. Contact the seller by phone to verify authenticity. A call placed to Shanghai, China and answered in broken English is a tipoff you might want to look elsewhere.
2. Do NOT rely on Paypal or eBay for protection in the event you get defrauded!!! After the back-and-forth BS from Paypal in "Dispute Resolution," I finally called my credit card company and had them issue a chargeback immediately. Paypal makes you jump through hoops and even then, you aren't guaranteed to get your money back. My credit card company said that 9 times out of 10, victims end up being referred by Paypal back to their credit card companies for relief anyway.
3. Use this route if you do get caught with a fake:
-Immediately report the fraud to your credit card issuer.
-Get them to contest and reverse the charge.
-You will have to send your card issuer proof that you attempted to email or contact the bogus seller to return the club (your credit card company will send you the proper documentation in the snail mail).
-Do NOT resend the item out of your pocket as Pay"pal" dictates! Why should the victim of fraud have to pay a crook's freight for an illegal item??? I mean, does a rape victim have to foot the court costs of prosecuting her attacker?
I simply informed the Chinese vermin who sent me my new "Taylormade" that I would resend his piece of shitt ONLY AFTER I received an authentic money order from him for the expense of the return.
-Contact Taylormade's website and report the name of the eBay seller. They keep a running list of names of bogus eBay sellers on their site.
-Be sure to leave NEGATIVE Feedback on the user. (Urygre Wang, a.k.a.:"Shadow 1517" is on my shiot list and will remain there until I breathe my last vapor of life.)
-Feel free to utilize any black magic/voodoo procedures you may be familiar with to curse the seller and any of his immediate and extended family. I'm hoping my spell for "Violent Stomach Virus and Severe Dehydration with Multiple Organ Failure" is working on about 50 native Chinese as we speak.
Fortunately for me, I am not out any money on this deal like some others. Still it has been an expensive lesson in hours spent waiting for Paypal responses and dealing with my credit card company (who has been GREAT, by the way!---imagine that).
Do your homework on these sellers and wait until you have contacted the seller by phone before you actually process your buy with a paypal payment. It'll save you the hassle and your hard-earned dollars.
Oh,... and when you finally get the REAL thing, hit 'em straight!
