TaylorMade Tour Burner TP Driver Golf Club

Tour Burner TP is not for everyone!!! it is designed for low handicap players... the two degree open face allows you to work the ball off the tee box.. if you are looking for forgiveness and workability and have a low handicap then this is the club you might want to play with. I chose this club because I wanted to work the ball off the tee box and if you're good enough you can hit it straight. I have two of the same loft drivers than I can change the shaft to create an ideal ball flight/trajection, but the best shaft combination for this driver is a Diamana Whiteboard 73 or 83 X-flex. Hands down it is very easy to work the ball off the tee box with the shaft and head combination.

I went from an 8.5 ERC Fusion w/ a Grafalloy red (low launch) to the 2k8 Tour Burner TP 9.5 w/ Ozik stiff. A decision based solely on reviews I purchased. I have absolutely no regrets! The forgiveness factor is huge, and easily 20+ yards further carry on average than my old club. Even though the putter is the most important club in the bag, my GIR is much higher now due to more time in the fairway. The biggest factor for me was the look of the 2008 TP at address, it's a great looking club, like the R9. The only thing is, if you're looking to consistently draw the ball, this might not work for you, otherwise it's a no brainer (imo).

Very forgiving, a little lower ball flight has given me more roll. I get about ten more yards on average. I upgraded from the older Burner with 9.5 degrees of loft.

I love the head on this club-the Diamana shaft for Taylor Made is junk though!
Not even close to a Flower Band Whiteboard shaft.

very nice driver,has a good launch and goes as far as anything out there today.everything you could want in a driver and the tp shaft is a up grade from the run of the mill shaft you get in the regular tour burner.pleasing to the eye and has a real nice feel if you catch the sweet spot.

club was in excellent shape, delivered quickly, price was right for what I was looking for. Sellers reputation was excellent, very low risk of being dissapointed.

I found this Taylormade driver to be an excellent addition to my golf bag for the following reasons.
-looks great,
-easy to hit really long and straight,
-large sweet spot,
-excellent upgraded shaft,
-durability.

I had been using my R7 driver with good accuracy and what I thought was good distance. When I added the Tour Burner TP Driver, I found that I could hit the ball 30 to 40 yards farther than my R7.

I would like to see as many detailed pictures of every single angle that the product has to offer. Golf clubs are also easily copied and as such leaving the serial numbers for potential buyers to check with the manufactures can be a positive attribute.

This is a great product if you are looking for a driver that will help you hit the ball longer and straiter.

Iam not that good of a golfer but this club hits them far and straight so Iam going to buy the matching 3 wood// very happy customer

When it is hit pure it is a bomber! When it is miss hit, it has great distance and is forgiving right to left. Great Club.
