About this putter: If you're looking for a mallet style putter, look no further. This is it! Everything about this putter scores high marks with me.

1) Putters are about feel- As Golf Digest wrote in an article recently, feel is equal parts tactile feedback and audio feedback. This putter feels smooth back and through your swing and it has a very solid sound on contact.

2) Aesthetics- This putter delivers on looks! I am not a fan of the Odyssey 2-ball looking putter (although everyone else seems to be), but I was looking for a mallet style putter and this thing is beautiful. The dramatic red pipes running the down both sides of the putter mallet head make a fantastic looking alignment aid.

In the end, putters are all about confidence. And this putter inspires a ton of confidence. I've previosuly putted with a Ping Anser and Ping A-blade. I've also putted with a TaylorMade Rossa Daytona model putter. I find that the mallet style in the Mezza Monza gives me much better distance control, especially on longer putts. I also have fewer mis-hit putts. Net, net I make more putts with this putter and even when I'm not having a good putting day, I can get the ball inside the leather more often with this putter than any flatstick I've used before. Bottomline, I trust this stick more.

And the real bonus with this putter is its price. Compare the price on this putter to a Scotty Cameron Futura, Odyssey 2- or 3- ball, Ping Craz-e, or the new Nike mallet and its a steal. On eBay this putter is about $100, which is incredible.
