TaylorMade Rescue TP 2009 Fairway Wood Golf Club

Wow, I have the Ben Hogan #2 Hybrid CFT Ti's and LOVE the Aldila NVS-H 85s shaft on it. Stiff but very responsive to aggressive swings. But this Voodoo SVS8 shaft on the TP Rescue R9 is not only shorter but feels much stiffer, more like an extra stiff. More for a 115+ swing speed in my opinion. I tend to fade or slice the ball with this Rescue TP wood at neutral setting so I have it set at the L setting and the ball goes straight. I have to work hard for a draw, unlike my Hogans which actually set up open?!!The Hogan is an inch longer, so I set the ball further up in my stance like a 4 iron. The TP Rescue sets up more like a 5-6 iron with 4 iron distance, but is not as long as the BH 19 degree...although it seems to be more workable and better out of deep rough or fairway bunkers. I'll give it that. Gotta get used to it whereas the BH are very consistent right from the first 3 swings. Decided to keep the Rescue TP but go with a Ben Hogan 17 degree Hybrid to replace my 5 wood or 2 iron. This rescue TP is Good for what it is Rescue Club. These Hybrids are the best inventions in Golf.

The club looks great at address. The ball flight is super straight with the help of Taylormade's FCT! Really glad to have it in the bag now. I needed a new hybrid with an extra stiff shaft and that is why I purchased the item
