I have a 9 handicap and play a couple of times a week. I recently purchased the rescue dual and it immediatly has become my favorite club in my bag. Ive never been a good long iron player. Before buying this club (the 22* model r flex), I was carrying a 4 iron and a seven wood. With the purchase of this club I was able to take out two clubs and replace with the one! Which opened up room for an extra wedge. The club is very easy to hit, straight ,fade, or draw . Its club face comes over the top for a very nice look at address and also protects the club in case of the dreaded pop up sky ball that will ruin a clubs value before the ball even hits the ground. I normally hit a stiff flex with a swing speed of around 100 mph but the regular flex works great much more ridged than most shafts on the market. I would highly suggest going to a pro shop for a waggle before deciding on a flex. Have hit the Ping g5, Cleveland halo and Cobra baffler and I prefer the look feel of this club over these models which I feel are all great clubs. One thing to consider in the purchase of this club is the t.l.c. weight cartriges that interchange with other Taylor Made products. It comes factory equipped with a 14 gram heel weight and 2 gram toe weight. If a person was to want to change these out with other weight configurations and dont own the tourqe wrench you would have to buy a wrench also which are a bit pricey. I own a R7 and have a wrench but have not reconfigured love it how it is. Just something to think about before you buy. The wrench head of these things are of couse designed for them and nothing i have seen torks, allen std , metric etc will take them out. Great club off the fairway or out of the rough, hit it from 185 to 200 yards, great for those long par threes. After hitting it and others i can see why Golf Digest rated this club as the best hybrid and Editors Choice on the HOT LIST 2006. I hope this helps you out. Happy ebaying and golfing, dugless5871

Club has a solid feel, good weight in the head. The one I bought was a 4 with a regular graphite shaft. The club launches the ball up, straight and far when you strike it in the center of the club.

The club has changable weights but doesn't come with the tool to remove the weights and the replacement weights are expensive especially if you want to buy several to experiment with.

You definitely have to hit down on the ball like you do with a mid iron, if you don't you are prone to "top" the ball. It took we a while to get used to using it, but after several sessions on the grass range im getting more consistent.

If you are not comfortable over a 3 or 4 iron, Just raise this club up and drop it at the ball. The club does the rest. What would Bobby Jones have done with these easy clubs?

There is no golf clubs in my bag that has been purchased any place other than E-bay . I can't hit the longer irons and this club is ideal. All of my Woods are Taylormade . They have improved my handicap. To improve at age 75 is certainly a compliment to the equipment. Taylormade,E bay and a 10 handicap makes everyday worth living.

The club is extremely easy to play. It takes you out of troubles when you are in the rough and helps you to reach long distances from the fairway. A must in your golf bag.
I bought it to substitute the very difficult iron 3 and, since I am using it, my performances on par fives or long par fours have considerably improved. It is also extremely useful in the short approach from the edge of the greens.
Very good club and great value for the money you spend.

I bought the number 3 rescue with the 19 degree loft. I love this club, is much easier to hit than a 3 iron, it will give you more distance right out of the box. It works great from the rough, it slides easyly through it. The interchangable weights are great because you can move them to fit your swing better. I recomend this club, it has worked great for me.

Taylor Made makes a great golf club. I have always had good luck with them. The rescue club has a great feel and is way more forgiving than an iron.

These hybrids are very easy to hit.I already had a 2 iron and have since purchased the 3 &4.Easy to get in the air and from all different lies. I usually play a big fade with my long irons but a draw set-up with these took that right away. I can highly recommend these to any mid to low handicapper.

  Game improvement club.

I purchased this club at third the cost new. The first day I used it, I was able to get on the green in regulation from a bad lie. This club has reduced my strokes per round by three. A friend recommended that I use Ebay to look for this club. Even though I bought it used, it was in excellent condition for the price. So now I have replaced my "3" iron, "4"iron, and "5"iron with Taylor Made Rescue Clubs. My playing companions our coming around, especially after taking quite a few skins from them. Check the seller rating before bidding on anything. It will save you from a lot of grief. There are a lot of game improvement clubs out there. Taylor Made fits my swing. I have an R7 Driver, and Taylor Made Rescues 2,3,4,and 5. I have to keep a close eye on my bag. My playing partners our getting sick of me pulling out shots to the green from between 230 to 190 yards in all conditions. The best thing I recommend is to find a driving range or golf store that sponsors demo days, write down the club information on the clubs you like from you favorite manufacture and hunt it down on Ebay. Hope this helps. Keep it in the short grass! Any day on the links is a good day.
E. T.

  Rescue Club Purchase

The rescue club was a great purchase for my game. I am a high handicap golfer and seldom make good long iron shots. The rescue club replaces my 3 iron and results in a higher percentage of good results. It is also easier to get a ball out of the rough than the long iron alternative. I am very happy with this addition to my bag.

Taylormade is top-quality golf equipment. This particular club was purchased to replace a harder to hit long iron in my set. The clyb performs exactly as expected. Its quality is readily apparent both in its appearance, and its performance.

I received the fairway wood and I already used it a couple of times.
That club is easier than #3 iron and can have good driving.

Thank you so much

I needed a 19 degree hybrid to go with my two other hybrids. I like Taylormade hybrids the best, so watched eBay until I saw the best bargain.
I've been playing golf with the new club for about a month now, and it's a great addition to my game.

I believe these hybrids are great. I have the four and the five. I prefer them much more than my 3,4,5 iron. I took them out of the bag all together. These clubs get great height to beat trees and still carry the distance. If you are looking for a hybrid this may be the one.

Long iron game is now fixed with the hybrid.

I dreaded having to hit that long shot that was inside my 5 wood, but outside of my 5 iron. So, with regret I'd pull out the 3 or 4 iron and always hit it poorly. Of course a lot of this could really have been mental, but it was pretty consistently poor with these irons. I decided to give the taylormade rescue duals a shot at it. First time I used it I couldn't have been happier. It was much easier for me to hit and my control with it was very surprising. I highly recommend a hybrid to any who struggle with accuracy and consistency. It has helped my game immensely. I actually try to find myself hoping I can use the hybrid during my round versus dreading it.

The reason why I love this club is because it is hard to get a ball off of a 3 iron up in the air. This club replaced my 3 iron and gets the ball up fast. This club is very forgiving and has movable weight technology to adjust your swing shape.
