Great rescue. Perfect from bad lies.

I tried this club when my father-in-law recommended it when I was stuck in a deep rough in some trees. After hitting the ball about 200 yards as straight as an arrow, I was hooked.
I'm a higher handicap (for now), and this club even made me look good. :-)
Even though this is a much older model club, it is the very definition of rescue. The namesake "rails" on the bottom of the club help keep it aligned while swinging for the fences from any lie. I find this club particularly helpful when I'm in the rough although it plays well from both the fairway and tee box as well.
I carry the 19* loft because I find it easier to hit than the 16*. The steel shaft (uncommon nowadays in fairway/rescue/hybrid clubs) makes me even more confident playing this club from an unfavorable lie because I know that the shaft will hold up even with a strong swing.
The best thing about these clubs is that because they have some years on them (and are almost certainly used), you can probably find them at a great price.
Best of luck, and I hope that you will find this club as helpful to your game as I have.
