TaylorMade RAC Black TP Wedge Golf Club

about six months ago i got the rac black tp 56. Immediatly i fell in love with it. It is hard to hit from far at first, but it comes. Around the greens, i started getting up and down EVERY time. I had 11 puts in on 9 hole round. It has awsome spin. It is easy to get near hard pins. I loved it so much i got the lob wedge last week at its great! i was using a clevland 588 lob and HATED it. it was absolutely terrible. I am flopping like phill with it now. on the long run it is great. had only 2 complaints- the metal is REALLY soft so it dings easily, (like if you walk 9 holes u will see little cosmetic marks from where it hit other clubs) and the beautiful black finish wears off on the bottum and hosel from sand shots and such. But those are cosmetic. The clubface is so "sticky"! i love it. if u doubt the spin people are talking about, but your thumb on the clubface and try to slide it. you cant. And the grooves are also fabulose. Like said below, it is not super forgiving. but definatly a 5 star club. never using a different wedge again...

I have a TP 56° and 60° in the satin. I bought the 52° in the black back in December. I have worn much of the black off this winter in Florida, but I hit this wedge more than any club in the bag except the driver and the putter. I bought it to have a club for the 80-100 yard range, and now also use it for chipping. I can open the face a little and make the ball stop, or play it off my back foot to hit a low shot that will skip twice then stop. I have at least 2 dozen wedges, but have never had one that I have so much confidence in.

Love the way the black head frames the ball at address, grooves grab and spin exceptionally without shearing the ball.Important when you play thin cover balls like the pro v1, Hx Tour or Taylormade TP. Also find that despite the spin that this wedge generates, shots do not 'balloon' like with other high spin wedge models.Overall an excellent wedge and highly recommended!!

Great Looking on the approach similar to my CG10's but just a little lighter. The spin and feel is awesome.

Well, enough said about the groves and the spin. These wedges simply 'kill' when you're 100 yards in. While you may be asking why these clubs do not come with the velvet grips as the regular RAC wedges do, you may also be surprised by the feel you get when hitting with these clubs. However, you want to be gentle with them because their ability to 'move' your balls around the pin is beyond your imagination.

very solid golf club at a very fair price. why pay retail? i've own the rac wedge in my bag for several years and when it came time to replace it I knew exactly the wedge I wanted. the tp black. nice finish, nice feel.

Wedge was not in very good condition as advertised. Also it had an oversized grip which necessitated extra expense to regrip, also not noted in description.
Second golf club I have purchased on ebay. First one was excellent this one is a dissapointment.

8 handicap, but with these wedges, I will go LOWER!!! These wedges are great. I own a 52 and a 60 degree. The vibration pockets really do absorb a lot of vibration on hits, offering solid feeling strikes, and imparting more spin into the ball when you need it. Feels like your hitting a muscle backed wedge with cavity back forgiveness. Y-grooves are pretty sharp. Z-grooves must really impart the suck back and probably tear a little of the cover off the ball. Great off tight lies because their leading edge really gets under the ball and offers a great surface area to hit the sweet spot. Lines up square and open. NICE!!! Very versatile wedge. Shaft not too stiff. Has a little flex in it at the mid kick point to offer some nice feel at impact. Judging distance is much simpler with this shaft. All in all, these wedges offer such great balance to them, there is no shot you can't imagine and then pull off with these. Short game magic at your fingertips!!! Personally, my 60 degree could use 8 degrees of bounce rather than 6.

needed a black tp 60 degrees to match my 56 degree. I like the dark color as opposed to the shinny wedges. Taylor made no longer sells this color wedge.

TaylorMade is one of the premier manufacturers in golf today. The RAC wedge has a good feel and great control. I purchased the Black 52 degree wedge a few weeks ago and have nothing but good things to say about it. I already had the matching 56 degree sand wedge, so I knew what to expect and haven't been disappointed. The wedge works well from all areas around the green and I would recommend it for golfers of all handicaps.

I like how you can use this club just inside your pitching wedge distance and control it even more than you pitching wedge. stops dead on the green if you get it high in the air. perfect club for my bag.

I love the feed back You get from these wedges. Incredible control and spin. I would recommend these wedges to anyone wanting to improve their short game. The black club head reduce the glare and also look really nice.

I have a bad habit of leaving clubs on the green after putting out. So I bought this club to replace the one I already had. I just love these wedges,they really bite on chips shots. You can't go wrong with taylormade! By the way, my golf partner hurt his knee the night I lost this wedge, One month later he finally looked in his bag and bingo, there's my wedge!! Now I have two wedges. So it goes.

I have recently bought a Taylormade RAC TP wedge Golf Club and love it. It came brand new without any blemishes or anything. The wedge works great spins a ton and looks great. I decided to by it because it was just as expensive as a brand new wedge you can get from the store except that it is a tour issue and therefore has better performance and i thought that was the way to go.
