    This driver is very long and forgiving I would recomend it to anyone. The R7 may be a little better driver but at 400-500 dollars the 540XD is a great steal.

    This is among the best of the best. Distance and carry is great. Very forgiving. Great launch angle and unbelievable ball flight. Easy to shape shots off the tee. I have made a move from a Ping G2 driver to Taylormade R540 xd. This transition was a breeze. I enjoy this driver more than any other I have used. Good luck hope this helps.
