When you swing this club, the clubhead doesn't get lost in the back-swing...you can fell it every step of the way. To me, the shape and design of the club is not far off from the more modern hybrids that are sold today. I have hit this club from lies consisting of heavy to moderate rough and it has performed well.
The shaft choices and composite heads available today provide me with greater distance at the sacrafice to accuracy. Otherwise, I would still be using this club. If you are just starting out...concentrate on accuracy over yardage and use a club of this caliber to get you to the next level.

What you see is what you get, older style metal wood. i needed a rescue/trouble club to hit out of dirt and wooded areas. that's where my ball seems to like visiting. this serves the purpose. not bad looking and it is a taylor made product.
