TaylorMade Burner XD Single Iron Golf Club

I recently replaced my Callaway X-14 (Long Rifle Shafts) with Burner XD irons (Stiff Flex Shaft). I loved my Callaways, which were extremely reliable irons and allowed me to shape shots when needed. The first thing I noticed about the XD Irons was the added distance. The Burner XD large titanium sweet spot easily added 10 yards distance per club and the mid-fat sole of the XD irons allowed me to cut through the rough, which prevents the club face from opening up. With a driver club speed of 105 MPH, I can easily bend the shaft of most regular flex and graphite shaft irons. The Burner RE-AX Super Fast 90 stiff flex shaft keeps up with my high swing speed and gives me reliable performance every time. I highly recommend the Super Fast 90 stiff shaft over the Callaway Uniflex shaft, which does not provide enough stiffness for driver head speeds over 80 MPH.

Hits straight. Need to get a WINN oversized grip. Heard TM has great irons. I've been using Warrior clubs and TM has a better feel and a good sweet spot.

I have been trying to decide what kind of iron set I will be buying in the near future. The Burner iron set was in the mix, so I bid on the 6 iron to see what it was like as compared to another set I was considering. The club was as described in the bidding process and it was delivered ina timely fashion. It has helped in my decision making.
