The dialogue in this movie is what makes the movie. There are numerous known actors and actresses that contribute to this movie. The Director of this movie smoothely blends interesting dialogue with the thoughts of Deniro into a captivating movie. It is a psychological movie that is not for everybody.
Jodie Foster's role is less than I had assumed. Robert De Niro is the star in this. Jodie considers this movie one of the best American movies that protrays life in the inner city. It is explicit and graphic. I liked the movie but too much profanity. And, being an old movie without closed captioning, my TVGuardian would not delete the foul language like newer movies.
