I think I have all of the Taste of Home cooking books & annuals. Besides being my favorite magazine it is the one I turn to more than others for good home cooked meals. People send in their tried and true recipes from all over the U.S.A. and you know that the kitchens have tested and re-tested them to make sure they are all delicious! I like the 5-ring lay flat binder. No more book closing up on you when you are in the middle of a recipe. Food sections have tabs for ease in locating what you are looking for and the splash guards are a plus! As always they have lots of color photos. The content goes from cookies, bars and brownies....cakes, cheesecakes, pies and tarts....quick breads, muffins and scones....savory yeast breads & yummy holiday treats. All of them proven winners!

I received this cookbook as a Christmas present. I have spent hours just going over it and reading the recipes. I have tried quite a few. The Triple Layer Cookie Bars are so moist and chewy. The Lemon Bread Pudding is wonderful. My grand daughter, who is 16, loved it also. So I have bought her one for her upcoming birthday. She loves to bake and I think this will be great for her. Lots of new things to try. WE can bake and compare as we live in different states. This is wonderful for a beginner baker.

) Large print and the recipes vary from simple wares to very unique combinations of flavors. Has something for everyone's taste. The only drawback for the book is that some of the staple recipes are not included for making it complete. Then again, you usually have them on file and have a tried and true recipe for them and they would be redundant.

Excellent Cookbook
) when i was growing up i love to watch my mom baking and now i am a mom and i still love baking. It calms me down and feel peace when i am baking. I am looking for new styles and what can i bake with common ingredients to make it fun and tasty. I read the cookbook at a book store i was addicted to it but the price at the book store is expensive so i couldnt buy it. I was hoping that i would get it a little cheap on ebay which i did ha. However, it will help me to improve my baking skills and my experience in baking.
I always and still bake my famous sugar cookies for the holidays even fall as well. I know this cookbook will be awesome and fun to experiment baking and see what we like and what we dont like.

Taste of Home Baking BookGood Baking Book. Some different but easy recipes. Easy reading and can find almost anything you are looking for or at least a recipe you can start with. Not off the wall things that do not appeal to me or mine.

This is one of the best cook books I have ran across in a long time I have been wanting one as a matter of fact I ordered one from another company & paid 2x the amount but for some reason the order didnt go through & I decided to check it out here I found it the recipes are easy to read easy to cook ingredients are easy to find & the family seems to love everything I fix for them from this lovely cook book..Its a must have for anyone collecting great cook books

Great Cookbook!This is a terrific cookbook, especially for someone who loves to bake. The recipes are clear and easy to follow, and the design of the cookbook is great. All of the Taste of Home cookbooks are wonderful, and I would recommend them to anyone who enjoys cookbooks.

) The way it is written. It's an informative book. I purchased one for myself and turned around and purchased one for my mom. She too, says it's an informative book. I get bookclub information in the mail and instead of joining "cooks club" I choose the books and then go on ebay to see if they are availble at a less expensive price! This is the only way to go when it comes to cook books of any nature.
I thought the binding was in a spiral like the Taste of Home Collection, but this is ok, I can live with it!
