The Tasha Tudor Cookbook by Tasha Tudor (1993, Hardcover)

This book was a wonderful addition to a collection of her books. It was sent promptly and has many recipes that my family will enjoy. The book has many illustrations which are delightful as well. I would recommend any of Tasha Tudor's products as they are a delight to the eye and will lift your spirits. From her life with her animal friends, her gardening books with flowers as far as the eye can see, her delightful children's books, this delightful 91 yr old author is a treasure.

I like the way it came in the mail. Very protected from inclement weather. It arrived as stated and has been enjoyed not only by me but my friend who also enjoys the Tasha Tudor art. We both love the details in her books.

I have a collection of Tasha Tudor books, most of which I bought through eBay. This was one that I did not have. I have always been intrigued by Tasha Tudor. She seems to be neat person, as well as a wonderful illustrator. I love the recipes in the book, which are her own family recipes, and I love her illustrations. The children take you back in time to childhood, when life was wonderful and happy, and the only thing you had to worry about was getting all your playing done before bedtime. I will buy any of her books, when I can afford them, that I do not have. I even have two or three copies of some of her books. Thanks, eBay, for making this possible.

When I read in Victoria magazine that Tasha Tudor had passed away, I bought the Tasha Tudor Cookbook because I had heard that it was filled with her charming artwork. Her handpainted scenes of vintage kitchens, children and animals depict her amazing 1850's lifestyle. I was so happy to find dozens of her beautiful illustrations throughout the book, and her recipes are wonderful!! I would recommend this cookbook to anyone who is interested in
a country home lifestyle and in making authentic "comfort" foods.

I did not buy this book for the recipes! I wanted to add another book illustrated by Tasha Tudor for my collection. I bought it "sight unseen" knowing that the pictures alone were worth the price of the book.

I love the recipes she has included in this book. The illustrations are a separate jewel of this book. I will treasure it.
