Tap Root Manuscript by Neil Diamond (CD, Oct-1990, MCA Records USA)

This album was one that Neil Diamond broke away from the three stanza 60's R&R. He uses symphonic music, children's choir/vocals in many songs; and like Dylan before, he breaks away from the typical three minute three stanza songs that typified earlier popular music. Not heard Tap Root Manuscript since the 70's and when I purchased it in Dec 2006, it was just as enjoyable as back then.
