I bought this game because I recognized it from playing the demo on the "Official Xbox Magazine" from a few months ago.
I was looking for a bargain price on a familiar title, and this is the one I chose.
It's actually a pretty decent fighting game with the usual "power up" attacks, but also including "limb damage" which means that a limb has been damaged enough to make a character limp or whatever and only do half damage with the affected limb.
THere's a decent tutorial in there too.. no "hidden moves" that I'm aware of, though some of the patterns you have to go through to trigger specific attacks may seem daunting at times.. especially when you discover that the distance to your opponent sometimes changes the effect of pushing specifc buttons.. (ie- a combo might not work if it requires you to be closer, or further away from your opponent.
However, all in all, this game is worth getting if you can get it rediculously cheap. It IS entertaining, though not likely to appeal to the hardcore fighter game fans. It's kinda' like Dead or Alive in some respects... not as engrossing, but still pretty good.
