I really like this workout, its fast and effecient.
You can choose the entire routine, or select any of the individual circuits.
The circuits include: one for arms, one for abs, one for rear end (also works the legs) and last for total body. There is also a short warm up and cool down. You can also select the warm up or cool down.
Each segment lasts about 13 to 17 minutes, and believe me they FLY by!
The warm up and cool down cuircuits are about 2-3 minutes each.
Minna is very enouraging and is NOT annoying. She basically indicates to ignore the burn and think of how sexy you will look in your tank top, or your boy shorts. There is no lengthy pauses in between exercises, she demostrates each move one time, then gets right to it. The music is not at all cheezy (it sounds like rave clubbing music.) She does make some of the moves fun! And some are very gracefull to do.
All the routines incorporate the legs so they get quite a punch too.
As a regular low impact exerciser of WATP, (about 3 times a week)... and a final graduate of the 08 minute Abs, Legs, Buns and Arms dvd, this one was quite a step up! I actually broke out a sweat for the first time in months!
the movements are mostly for intermediate, and she shows some advanced versions to try. You choose which to do. If you are a beginner, i do not reccomend this dvd.
The abs portion has quite a few yoga positions, like plank, side plank, and boat. If you are not accustomed to yoga, this may be very painful and difficult. I would suggest a few weeks of beginner yoga and toning before trying this. Again this dvd is not for beginners.
