Tango & Cash (DVD, 1997)

Sylvester Stallone and Kurt Russell star in this 1989 action classic.
Framed for murder, Cops, Ray Tango and Gabriel Cash work together to
find a madman playing a deadly game with them. This is a great film
and Stallone and Russell are terrific together. Jack Palance is also
great as usual as the villian. The Beautiful, Teri Hatcher also stars
as Tango's sister. This dvd has decent picture and sound, but features
just the trailer. I would still pick up this 80's classic.

ONE TO ADD TO YOUR COLLECTION. YOU'LL NEVER SEE A DUO LIKE THESE 2 TOGETHER ANYTIME SOON. THE CLOSEST WAS LAWRENCE AND SMITH IN BAD BOYS. FUN MOVIE AND IN MY OPINION A MUST HAVE!!!

I have wanted this old classic for a while...I had'nt ever seen it before...I liked it a lot.
It was in brand new condition! Great buy!

Is not in great shape and wasn't new like described. It was resealed and packaging of the DVD itself was in shambles even on the inside. Has smudges on the inside of the DVD. Worst buying experience I have ever had hands down.

Great movie from the 80's. The movie came with a good storyline. Two amazing actors in this action flick. This was something i watched while i was growing up and i definitely wanted this in my dvd collection. If you like action with a bit of comedy then this is something i'd recommend.

Enjoying gong back and watching old action adventure movies new stuff is all special effects no story required no acting skills requires constantly getting worse Hollywood now relies nearly 100% on special effects.

As a longtime action film fan ive always liked and admired Sylvester Stallone and Kurt Russell, whom ive always felt was just a bit underrated although hes given great performances in lots of cult classics (Escape from New York, etc). Tango and Cash is one of those guilty pleasure action films that manages to do nothing more than entertain, and on that level, it succeeds. Stallone is Tango, a popular sharp dressing, stock market dealing detective for the LAPD; Russell is Cash, an equally well noted detective but whose a bit on the scruffy side. Much of the comedy is built around their heated rivalry, which one is the so-called best. When a powerful mobster frames them for murder and has the guys thrown in prison, they have to break out and rely on each other begrudingly to clear their names and reputations and bring the criminal to final justice. If youre looking for a fun little film on a Saturday night, Tango and Cash doesnt hurt.

This is an old movie, but its still really good.
Worth renting or buying.

I liked the action, the comedy when the two main characters had funny comments to throw back and forth to each other. I didn't like the part when they tried to electric cute them in the prison other than that it was an excellent movie.
I decided to buy it because I watched it one day and really enjoyed it and wanted to own it in my library.

I bought this movie because it is a great flick. It is Russel and Sly at their best. Great movie, definately worth the buy.

We owned this movie when we lived in Florida and the family enjoyed it. When half of our movies were stolen, we all tryed to write down our favorites and my sons wanted me to replace this one first. I searched and someone was selling for a nice price, so I purchased it to rebuild our collection and add to our favorite movies list. Tango & Cash is action packed from start to finish. There were no problems with the movie, it was still sealed with the security tape in place.

Tango and Cash....to me nothing more to say but the title. There's action and comedy. Sly, I didn't think that he could be funny really till I saw him in this movie. Kurt, he's been a great actor all his life. This movie I highly recommend, it has alot of good actors in it. I think it's a must see movie for anyone.
