My husband is the "stay at home" partner in our family. Having spent the first 25 years of his adult life working as a teacher and then as an electrician, his new work in the role of homemaker was an interesting challenge.
He found this book -- naturally, it was the title that caught his attention -- and he started browsing through it. He decided that it was worth the price being asked and purchased it.
Linda Cobb writes in an entertaining and straightforward manner and her tips for tackling many of your everyday household cleaning challenges are fabulous! My husband has happily saved lots of money, using the techniques in this book rather than trying the myriad of products which all promise success, but often fail to deliver!
I highly recommend this book to the beginner or the veteran housekeeper, whether the house you are keeping is your own or another's.
