This is an absolutly outstanding title for the Nintendo GameCube. If you're a fan of the previous titles in the Tales series, you will love this one. The story is amazing and the 3-D linear battle addition makes the gameplay unbelievable. If you're like me, and have never played any of the previous games in the series, you won't be disappointed. Have you ever played one of those games where you simply got addicted to playing it? You know...the kind where you're up way to late because you passed out in the middle of a movie sequence, or were late for work from some early morning play? This is that game. Just when it seems like it couldn't get any better, (or longer for that matter,) this game throws a huge surprise extending the story for hours upon hours of great game play and creative storylines. If there is one game to have for the Nintendo Game Cube, this is that game. I at times neglected my day to day responsibilities just to find time to get to the next save point. I've seen this game used all over eBay for around $20 or so. Even if you plan on getting the new Nintend Wii (Revolution), you may still want to consider picking up this title. The story line is at times, difficult to follow, so this game is probably more directed toward an older audience, (teens/young adults.) One of the things I like best about this game is that it's not particularly hard, it's just very long. And although it's seemingly endless at times, there is not a moment where it isn't entertaining. Fans of anime will probably enjoy this game too as it parallels the drawings and basic storylines/ideas that one might see in typical Japanese animation.
