This is a fun, somewhat corny, look at the origins of hot rodding and customizing. The information is very introductory, well known stuff. If you know nothing at all about this era, this would be informative. If you are already knowledgeable about the times and players, it's preaching to the choir. Some of the video interviews on the extras tab were the most interesting to me. So, OK overall, but not much of anything I didn't already know. Rat Fink lives.

I was always a fan of Ed Roth. I loved this DVD because I was able to see Photos and some film footage that I never seen before. This is a great DVD for every Car Crazy person and car art lover.

Ed "Big Daddy" Roth was/is one of the most important low brow artists of all time!!! see the man who created the pop culture icon "Rat Fink".

I am very much into Kustom Kulture and the individuals who had the skills to create/develop a culture back in the 50's-60' and 70's that is continuing to strive to this day. The people that are outlined in this DVD are true artists.
This ia a very good DVD. The seller provided the product in excellent condition and shipped it at light speed. All at a very reasonable price. All other sellers should take a lesson or two from this seller. E-Bay is a great place that allows people to buy and sell items that may no longer be available on the open market. AND AT A GREAT PRICE! E-Bay abusers should stick with the classifieds.

I love this movie I could watch it over and over and have. It is also family friendly as I watch it with my 10 year old son, who loves the rat fink cartoons, the history on Ed roth is good to.I guess my only complaint would be I want more ratfink and hotrod monster cartoons and more pictures and descriptions of ed roths cars and motorcycles and everything Ed Roth.On a scale of 1-5 stars I give tales of the ratfink 5 stars and highly recomend this dvd Ed roth rules and the ratfink lives on.

A good History lesson for all the young Hot Rod / Custom car guys (and girls).
Lots of celebrity voices, and a nice DVD.
Big Daddy was a giant ,in many ways, so long Buddy.

anything to do with 50s early 60s is what i grew up with.my wife and i refuse to grow up and continue our live our youth.we are in our late 50s now but continue to think 16. ed roth was hero to the creative at heart and continues to inspire me even today.

As a life-long fan of Ed Roths cars and art, I bought this as soon as it was available and was not disappointed. This is a well made, funny and entertaining dvd documentary about all things Roth. I especially enjoyed the animation and sound effects provided for Rat Fink. For those who do not quite "get it", this video may help shed some light on the Fink phenomenon.

Because, Roth, Rule`s. and always will. hes #1. there alot you could say about Ed Roth. he the best. I`m so glad I got to meet him, before the good lord took him to build hot rods for him, will meet again, in a better place. Thanks Ed.
