Tales from the Crypt - Demon Knight (DVD, 2003)

I love the action, I havn't seen it in a while and it's a great movie.
The item got here at the perfect time.

I bought this movie because I'm a huge Tales From The Crypt fan. The movie was as gruesome as expected. There were no dislikes. If you really are a fan of the TV series, then this is a must have movie. Just like the series, it has comedy and gruesome horror scenes. I loved it from start to finish.

Everything was great. The DVD's came in a timely manor and I was very pleased overall with my purchase.

This is one the best tales from the crypt shows and Billy Zane is awesome in this,Funny, scary and sexy all at the same time. This is just an awesome horror movie well worth buying and we will watch it again and again,As my husband says it is a twofer.

takes me back to how the series were; just a lot of laughs and spooky themes- there were some clever bit s but all in all just some fun to watch; like a weekend afternoon movie.

I was a big fan of the Tales from the Crypt TV show. Thus, I am a big fan of this movie. It feels a lot like one of the Creepshow movies but has enough gore, humor and OTT carnage to make it stand on it's own as well as being a big screen spin-off. Brayker (William Sadler) is a drifter who stumbles upon a lonely desert town after an explosive confrontation with The Collector (Billy Zane), a supremely evil being with Satanical powers who is desperate to get his hands on Brayker's mysterious talisman. Brayker spends the night in a shabby motel but The Collector soon turns up and unleashes hell upon the motel and it's inhabitants.

This is where the fun really kicks in. The Collector has fun enticing the residents (made up of Dick Miller, Charles Fleisher, Thomas Haden Church, Brenda Bakke, Jada Pinkett-Smith and CCH Pounder) to join him on his dark quest and steal the talisman from Brayker.

Director Ernest Dickerson (who also did Surviving the Game) does not hold back on the gore as he spoofs 1950's B-movies, honor's the TV show and pays brilliant homage to the Tales From The Crypt comic book legacy. It may seem like a cheap, horror comedy with no artistic integrity but Dickerson successfully pulls of a movie that will satisfy and entertain anyone who watches it.

Of course half of the movie's appeal lies with Billy Zane who acts out the role of The Collector with such wicked charm and delightful evil. You can tell he's having a great time and he makes a formidable villain for Sadler's dishevelled hero.

They should make more Tales From The Crypt movies, but producer's Robert Zemeckis, Gilbert Adler and Joel Silver (Walter Hill and David Giler ducked out) went on to found Dark Castle, the production company behind House on Haunted Hill, Thir13en Ghosts and Ghost Ship.

The new DVD by Universal is better than the old one from Image. This time be get the film in it's proper aspect ratio of 1.85:1 anamorphic with a Dolby 5.1 soundtrack. The old snapper case is gone and in it's place is a sturdy keep case. Demon Knight is definitely one to get.

BILLY ZANE GIVES AN AWESOME PERFORMANCE LIKE NO OTHER! THIS MOVIE KEEPS YOU ON THE EDGE OF YOUR SEAT. ALOT OF HORROR AND TO THE POINT CAN ACTUALLY BECOME REDICULOUS. GOOD DVD TO ADD TO YOUR TALES FROM THE CRYPT SERIES OF HORROR FLICKS.DEFINATELY WORTH PURCHASING. A DEFINITE TEN FOR ALL YOU HORROR BUFFS.

I'm a horror movie fan and of course a comedy fan. So I got both in one movie with Demon Knight. While the script or story line itself has some holes in it, for the most part it it is sarcastically clever and Billy Zane is a delight to watch on screen (for....more than his acting too.)

I love this movie. I had seen it on TV several times, but not anytime too recent. Of course things are edited when played on TV and I wanted to see the real thing. Even though the special effects are very cheesy I thought this movie was awesome. All in all, I would buy it again.

This movie scared the hell out of me when i was little. from there on i enjoyed watching it over and over. i brought this movie to add to my dvd collection.

I first got into the crypt keeper when i was a little girl. I remember it use to be a television series and got great reviews. Im so glad they decided to make movies based on the tv series. This one is really gory and really scary. I love the crypt keeper to death i think he is the coolest ghoul in town. He has such a sense of humor. After watching the movie he will put u at ease with his little jokes before the movie and after. As i said this movie is really gruesome and will leave u running from the room and jumping our of ur seat definitly a movie to add to your collection.

It was bought as a Christmas gift for my brother, who absolutely loves this movie and couldn't find it, so I did. I have seen it and it is a very good movie! I would recommend to anyone who likes suspense.

I like the fact that it was still new, sealed and not tampered with. I know I'm not supposed to write about the seller, but what I wanted to add is that. I like the fact that since this movie is hard to find, the seller wasn't charging an arm and a leg for it.

I was looking for this movie forever, I love this movie, it has fright, the demons are scary as HELL, and I glad I bought it. This movie is one of my favorites and it would be forever loved and feared.

It is a super story and the DVD quality enriches the experience. I am very happy with the purchase and have added it to my collection of super movies.

This is a harder to find move made a few years back. It has everyones much loved HBO late night host The Crypt Keeper as the stories teller so to speak. A wonderful movie about supernatural creatures, good vs. evil and heaven vs. hell. Any fans of the Tales from the Crypt should own this in thier collection.
