Taking the Long Way by Dixie Chicks (CD, May-2006, Open Wide Records)

I told my husband from the day George was elected that he was a really stupid guy who would embarass the American public. What happened????? He started a war that has resulted in the demise of our entire economic stability. I tried to tell my coworkers not to re elect that guy. They voted for him anyway. He ruined the rest of what we had left and now our kids and their kids and etc will never get out from under the pile of rubble we have left them. All hail to the Dixie Chicks. I really love them and what they all stand for. Unite! Give the Dixie Chicks a standing ovation for living through the horrible way they have been received again and again for having the nerve to stand up for their own beliefs even when their beliefs weren't what the American public wanted to hear. The music is fabulous.
