Taking the Fifth by J.A. Jance (1987, Paperback, Reissue)

I think Jance is one of "The" best mystery writers. When I first started reading her books, I wasn't reading them in sequence. I've bought almost all of them and am now going back and starting over. That's how good her stories are. Once I start one, I know I'd better not plan on doing much until I've finished it. Jance is a writer that keeps me interested from the first page until the last. I really like it when she puts J P Beaumont and JoAnna Brady in the same mystery. I wish she would do it more often. Her characters are real people to me. They aren't far fetched like some mysteries. In my "book" she's tops.
