Taking Chances by Celine Dion (CD, Nov-2007, Columbia USA)

I love Celine Dion and all of her music. I have all of her CD's and I wanted this one as well. I was having some difficulty finding it in the stores, so I looked on Ebay, found it, and the price was right, so I purchased it. The service was fantastic as always and the CD was in wonderful new condition. There was nothing at all that I disliked about the CD or the service.

Excellent CD. Celine Dion has not done a new CD in years. I love her music
and this CD is one of her best. I always enjoy her music.

I enjoy listing to CD's any kind of music but I really enjoy Celine Dion the most. There is not anything that I dislike about Celine Dion music, I have all of her CD's every time she has a new CD out I buy it,because I really enjoy her music.

I can't say I'm really a huge Celine Dion fan but I recently took my Mum to one of her concerts and decided to buy myself a CD. Anyway what can I say but WOW!!! This CD is excellent! The songs are so powerful and emotional. Most are upbeat but there are a few slow ones. Anyway excellent CD!!! :-)

I just received this CD in the mail today and listened to it. I loved it!! The songs on the CD are awesome!! Celine Dion has worked with some new artists for new album. Ben Moody from Evanscense is one of the songwriters credited on CD, along with a few others that worked with different artists such as Christina Agulira, etc. Celine Dion is at her best on this album. This album deserves a Grammy or American Music Award for Best Female Artist or Best Album of The Year.

Oh what Can I say, Who doesn't love Celine Dion, the greatest singer around. This CD is great and I'm so glad I got it

Having seen Celine @ Ceasars in Vegas 6 times the new CD Taking Chances was a must have! While Celine puts in a very good effort this CD just doesn't seem to have any songs that could be considered a hit. While her cover of Alone and the title track are nicely done songs, I just do not feel that she really used the full range of her voice as she has done so well in the past. It seems that while the CD is called Taking chances Celine decided to play this one safe, with nice catchy songs but none really memorable. As a huge Celine fan I did like this CD overall and Celine fans will like it, I was just expecting much more from the Greatest Singer in the World!!!!

I think this CD is just boring. It has some good songs, but it is not one I look forward to listening except every once in a while.

I'm going to go see her in a few weeks. Have always thought she was a great singer. I am enjoying the CD Taking Chances very much. I did not get the DVD with it which I thought I was. Oh Well. I highly recommend this CD if you are a Celine fan.

Good CD, nice mixture of songs. Great CD to add to your Celine Dion collection. Most of the songs included on the CD are part of her 2008 Taking Chances tour.

I have been a fan of Celine Dion for like 14 years now. I have every album and have seen her in concert. This is a freely speaking Celine Dion Album that only goes along with her other meassages in other albums. Take chances and nothing is impossible. This album along with her other ones speaks of love and heartache both, but that thru it all love will find a way to your heart someday. I can tell you this much this album has some of Celine's songs as well as remakes of older music for other artist. That is why I feel this album is great to have. It is like the Las Vegas Concert in your own livingroom. I can tell you this much you will not regret buying this album or any other albums by her.

I love the freedom of being able to get what I want without having to shop elbow-to-elbow at the store. I bought this particular item because a friend of mine said he would like it for his birthday and what an easy way to get something someone wants. I rate this product highly as it has the same quality of store bought things without the hassle or possibly "I'm sorry but we are out of that item" even though it was advertised. I believe in letting my fingers work for me through ebay. Kudos to the sellers for making this possible. Thanks!

I like this CD, although I like Celine's earliest work, back in the early 90's, the best. This CD is a bit different than previous albums in that a couple of the songs are a little edgier (not so light-sounding), and some orchestra music is mixed in. I like both of these elements.

I wouldn't say this is Celine's "rock album" like the reviews say. It's still light rock/pop/easy-listening. I personally like Celine very much as a person and have bought all her CDs and will continue to do so. I want to support her and buy only new and sealed CDs so I know she's getting the profits.

I personally would recommend any of Celine's music, however, I know I'm biased because she's one of my favorite artists, and like I said, I'll buy all of her albums she releases.

First off, I have to admit, I've never been a huge Celine Dion fan. I have always found her personality and performance style a little quirky and un-hip, bordering on sappy to annoying. I've also never really embraced the kind of lukewarm adult contemporary genre that she seems to embody. But... I LOVE THIS CD!!!! I just can't play it enough. Of course Celine's vocals are impeccable. But Celine has also developed an edge on this one and it works for me. Okay, Celine is not angry like the Sex Pistols. She's not exploring new musical frontiers. But she does deliver a strong set of thoroughly enjoyable power ballads, managing to do so with authenticity. Celine actually comes off as very human and even a bit cool. If you're even just a bit curious, give this one a try. I'm really glad that I did!

I love this CD and have listened to it hundreds of times already. I love Celine's voice and admire her talent. These songs have a little more modern feel to them but are still very enjoyable.

My first Celine Dion CD. I was especially attracted to "Alone" previously done by "Heart". I enjoy the rest of the CD also.

I love the CD. It arrived timely and is excellent. I have purchased two altogether. The other was a gift.

As usual Celines' music is awesome and most of the songs are brand new and I like them. I play it all the time while riding in my car.

I love Celine Dion and have what I feel like is her best CD'S. This one she really did not sound like herself in. She changed her style and did take a chance that did not work for me. She is so blessed with her vocal cords and when she puts them to ballets and songs with depth, she can not be beat by anyone out there. She is a master of her trade and I look forward to her next CD.
