A good book on the Iran Hostage Crisis
I purchased this book for a History class. I enjoyed reading it because it gave me some good insight into the times surrounding the Iran Hostage Crisis of 1979, as well as what led up to the conflict. Though it focused much on the events that were supplementary to the crisis, Farber did not focus as much on the hostage’s experience of the crisis itself. Nevertheless, this book is perhaps one of the best books written on the subject.
