While, by his music's very nature, Aaron Shust is not allowed to let any other love get between him and his devotion for God. However, the singer-songwriter stalked the coffeehouses of Duluth, Georgia, while studying music theory in college, and the music on his third album, 2009's TAKE OVER, displays that skill and experience and betrays no lack of passion for either his compositions or his Lord. The record opens with a Creed-esque alt-rock roar on driving tracks like "To God," but truly perks up when he lets the piano take sway and unleashes Fray-esque fugues of pop majesty.
