This product was just as described...used. However it was in reasonable good condition.Only the dust jacket had a tear and the book itself had no damage.

this book is wonderful. It is packed with medical terms and perfect for students or everyday use in the medical field. It also comes with one year free subscription to Taber's Online, which will even pronounce the words correctly for you!A must have.

this was so helpful in medical school a true must have. I used it everyday if I needed a question answered I just looked it up in there it would be in there 98 out of 100 times.

Great improvement in information, diagrams and pics. This copy however has several printing problems. Sections of pages are double printed making it difficult to read.

This is one of my absolute favorite reference books in my new ventures into the medical field. I find the illustration helpful and the entries concise and helpful. The size of this book still allows it to not require a weightlifting class, the book fits into my backpack. Portability is a big plus! I think this will be my new best friend for learning medical terminology!

Bought it for Practical Nursing Programs. This is my first medical dictionary and hopefully my last. The book have useful illustrations that can help you visually. Have pretty much everything you need for nursing students and also extra resources like NANDA diagnoses, Nursing intervention classification systems, Nutritional information, etc.
The only pro i have to think of is perhaps not convenient to carry it around? The paper is kind of thin so I'm always afraid of ripping it i guess. Or maybe im just being a picky?

This medical dictionary is perfect for nursing students or nurses who are already practicing. It has great illistrations and the print is easy to readd. The pictures are in color. It also has a thumb index which is easier to use that a book that does not have them.

For anyone in the medical field or who is just super interested in how the body works, and checking out what can go wrong with it (an ounce of prevention, etc.), this is as important (and more easily readable) as Gray's Anatomy. The alphabetized encyclopedic setup makes it easy to find items.

I purchased this item as a gift for a friend. I never recieved this item at all. In all fairness, I cannot rate this item, as I never recieved the merchandise from seller. Sellers such as this one should be permanately banned from ebay. I had to purchase a duplicate of the same book from ebay.

Still have not received the item!!!I still have not received this item or a refund of my payment, I paid through paypal on April 29th, I have contacted the seller by e-mail, which I received a response from on May 14th stating that he had mailed it the week before and he would check with the post office, I have tried to contact him again by phone but no answer or voice mail to leave a message on. I went through paypal on May 21st and they are giving the seller until June 10 to respond. I bid on this book for a class that I needed it for, my class is half over now, and I had to buy another book, by waiting on this book I had to go to several classes without it. I have purchased items off of ebay before with no problems, I don't know why this is taking so long to get settled if they mailed the item the week of May 4th. Thank You, Tina
