TNA Wrestling - Unstoppable: The Best of Samoa Joe (DVD, 2006)

Joe, Joe, Joe - there is a new name in wrestling and that is Samoa Joe. He hasn't been long in the limelight but that is sure to soon change. He is the hottest commodity that TNA has and this video collection of his best matches show why. The name of the DVD is a bit misleading as every match by Joe is something to watch. He hasnt backed down from any competition and soon will hold heavyweight gold - you read it here first. Be warned you will be watching this over and over again - hitting rewind to see tons of spectacular moves. How the hey did he do that? and that? and that? This is a sure thing to add to your DVD library. Yo Joe!

This DVD is great for fans of Samoa Joe, TNA or anyone who wants to see some classic, straight up wrestling matches that only TNA can provide. TNA is slowly becoming the NEW ECW...ECW before it was purchased by the WWE, that is. Although Samoa Joe has only been in TNA for roughly more than a year, he has had some classic matches. On the other hand, I'm not quite sure why they call this DVD "The Best of..." considering that it's pretty much the only matches Joe has had - oh well! The matches featured here show off some great moves, amazing finishes and at times will leave you with your jaw dropped. The best match is clearly the three way between Joe/AJ Styles/Christopher Daniels...it's not only the best match on the disc, but one of the best matches I've ever witnessed. The disc is lengthy, so it's worth the good money you'll put into it. Between matches, there is an interview with Joe where he discusses personal matters such as his family, growing up, his debut in TNA, etc. It's actually pretty darn good because we get to see Joe out of character. The extras aren't much to speak of, but seeing as the main feature of the DVD will get your attention and never let go, the lack of extras isn't going to bother you a bit. Samoa Joe is one of the better wrestlers this generation will ever see and I encourage everyone to either get or rent this DVD!

The matches are great. This dvd tells you about the life of somoa joe how he made it in the business today. He talks about being involved in the olympic games in 1984. It's a great story with many matches that were not released on dvd before unlike wwe dvd's which repeat matches over and over again. A must gave for any wrestling fan. If you like somoa joe dvd check out kurt angles dvd. this dvd is great as well. it illustates kurt angle life story and features about 6 matches in there entirely featuring somoan joe vs kurt angle his greatest opponent ever in tna. i don't care what people say he faced somoa joe to many times on this dvd. they were all great matches which illustrates what a great rivalry in the business should be like. 2 tna dvd's that get 10/10 best dvd's made in a long time.
