1st IT IS JAMMED WITH 4 HOURS OF SOME OF THE BEST WRESTLING WHEN RAVEN WAS IN SHAPE IN HIS PRIME.AFTER THE FALL OF ECW IN 2001 HE WENT STRAIGHT TO TNA. TAKES YOU TO THE ASYLUM IN NASHVILLE. BEFORE THEY HAD THE 6 SIDED RING. IT WAS ONLY 4 SIDED

TNA DID A GREAT JOB ON PICTURE QUALITY & SOUND!!

RAVEN VS SANDMAN HAS KEVIN SULLIVAN AS A SPECIAL REFEREE. THE ENDING IS WHOA!!
LADDER MATCH WITH A.J STYLES IS JUST THAT ABSOLUTELY PHONOMENAL.
ALSO THE MATCH VS. THE NEW CHURCH IS HIM VS. VAMPIRO IN A HANGMAN DOG COLLAR MATCH. WHICH IS GOOD.

1ST EVER MATCH WITH SABU ENOUGH SAID!! AWESOME. NOT ON ANY OTHER DVD
STING IS A SPECIAL GUEST ENFORCER IN A FOUR WAY MATCH.HE MIGHT NOT HAVE BEEN ON TV IN 5 YEARS BUT HE WAS IN TNA.
EVEN A HAIR VS. HAIR MATCH. ALL MATCHES ARE NOT LISTED FOR DVD.THERE ARE COUNTLESS OF OTHER GREAT MATCHES.

This DVD is the only "Best of Raven" DVD that is an official release, and legally available
in the US. It's from TNA and filled with around 3 hours of Raven's best matches from TNA.
You'll see his NWA Title matches, hardcore matches and his own creations, the
Clockwork Orange House of Fun Match, and the Hangman's Horror Match.
This DVD covers his TNA career from his debut, up through 2005.
All matches on the DVD are below and may have my personal opinion on them.

Raven vs. Sandman (Special Enforcer, Kevin Sullivan)
(Clockwork Orange House of Fun)
This match has plenty of weapons including tables, chairs, trash can lids,
Singapore Canes, a staple gun and even a pair of nunchaku (numchuks).
This match ends with a nice high spot and a VERY bloody Raven
challenging Jeff Jarrett for a title shot, which he gets, and loses.

Raven vs. AJ Styles
(Ladder Match)
Raven's head was cut badly in the previous match and gets re-opened in
this match. AJ Styles and Raven work GREAT together in this match and
every other match they're in together. Great use of the ladder.

Raven vs. Jeff Jarrett
(NWA World Title Match)
This match is really good and is opened by Jeremy Borash who has a wierd look
on his face like maybe he is pooping. Anyway the ring work is really good.
I can't say enough, how good Raven and Jarrett mesh in the ring!!

Raven vs. Shane Douglas (w. James Mitchell)
(Hair vs. Hair Match)
Raven makes Shane work SO hard that he actually pukes in the ring at one point.
The match ends with the "mystery man" that was involved in the fued
for months, unmasking himself to be Vampiro. Douglas runs his
mouth as Mitchell scalps Raven with Vampiro working the crowd.

Raven vs. Vampiro
(Hangman's Horror)
This is to my knowledge the first time Raven has wrestled Vampiro
and it is a good match. This is the last match Raven must wrestle
before he gets to fight James Mitchell. This is Raven's version of
the Dog Collar Match and is possibly the best I've ever seen.

Raven vs. Father James Mitchell
(Last Man Standing Match)
Mitchell is a manager, but, is suprisingly able to take a beating.
And he gets a bad one!!

Raven vs. Abyss
This is just a good ol' fashioned fight and was Abyss' chance
to show he could be a top guy like Raven or Jeff Jarrett.

Raven vs. AJ Styles vs. Abyss vs. Ron Killings
(Special Enforcer, Sting)
This match however is really good. All four of these guys
work their butts off and make this match great!!

Raven vs. AJ Styles vs. Ron Killings vs. Chris Harris
Now, I'm not trying to knock Harris, he IS good,
but he's a tag team wrestler and in my
opinion that's where he does his best work.

Raven vs. Sonjay Dutt
Now this match was in the storyline, Raven's way of getting
Dutt's mentor, Sabu, to face him in a match. Raven beats
the crap out of Dutt until finally Sabu agrees to face him.

Raven vs. Sabu
This the first time Raven and Sabu locked horns in singles
competition and was fantastic. A lot of chaos and great
promos went into the hype for ths match and I for one
was not disappointed at all. Best match on the DVD!!

2 Bonus Matches including Raven vs. Chris Harris
and one against AJ Styles. Both with alternate
commentary from Raven and Terry Taylor.

Lately, TNA has decided that rather than release sets with 2 discs, they're going to release one disc sets. Luckily, with the best of Raven, it is a two disc set. Whether or not you like Raven - I'll admit that he can get on my nerves when he cuts a promo or interview - you have to admit that his wrestling matches, especially the hardcore battles, are great to watch. This set is chock full of matches which range from your standard hardcore battles, to some pretty weird stipulations (ie; the Clockwork Orange House of Fun). There's some matches with familiar faces and some of TNA's own. If you like hardcore wrestling, this DVD is perfect for you. You'll see matches from TNA's beginning, through the introduction of the 6-sided ring and more. I think it's a must have for anyone who enjoys hardcore wrestling, Raven or TNA. It's two discs, as I said, so it's lengthy and will provide you with hours of entertainment. I think that this is one of TNA's best releases to date.
