Almost all of Ms. Grafton's 'alphabet' books have been addictive and "T" is for Trespass" is a two thumbs up! Kinsey Millhone goes up against a true evil in her newest book entry!
Gus Vronsky is known as the neighborhood scrooge, but when he is injured, Kinsey agrees to do a little background check on his caregiver who was hired by his out of town niece. Because Solana Rojas has top-notch credentials, Kinsey gives her a thumbs up. It is only later when she meets Solana that Kinsey is taken aback by her dark, complaining personality and what she feels is a 6th sense about the caregiver. Furthermore, she finds it very strange that Gus has been so subdued lately. Doing an illegal break in and entry into Gus' home she discovers a 300 lb goon asleep in the back bedroom. This confirms Kinsey's suspicion that Solana's rave reviews as a shining star are way off! Kinsey also discovers that the woman is not really Solana Rojas, but by time she makes this discovery and puts it all together it could cost her her life.
Probably the best of all her books so far!
