Not for me but my son thinks its "hot". I am not one for texting. But from what I see my son doing, he is inseprable from his sidekick. He tells me,"Dad this LX is so simple to use and the features are awesome and it's hot!", whatever that means. I asked him what he didn't like about it and he said,"besides the fact that you where to cheap to get me one sooner or that I have to get a new cover because I don't like the carbon look, I don't have anything bad to say about it".

The cellphone is great, the camera is pretty good and I like how there's the black and white, sephia, and negative options for the photo. I like the noises, and the applications on it, the internet is really good. The themes are neat, and the cases you can buy from tmobile are fun and an easy way to customize it. You can also design your own. I bought the purple one cause the color is amazing. The sim card and memory card are really easy to remove and put in. The lights on the phone are fun. The phone is great overall. It's a fun device. Definitely worth the money.

Love the apps (facebook and twitter. Upgraded from the dreadful sidekick slide...but I do miss sliding the phone open and not having to flip it...I worry about the flip breaking off or something. Expensive but not sure if its worth the $400 Tmobile is charging. For the price it should come with more basic features like calendar that syncs with PC, calculator and being able to sort or hide which apps you want to use or not use. I dont play music or games but I have to bypass them to get to the other apps I use constantly.

Sidekick LXThe phone was a reasonable price, and was the newest version of the sidekick. I bought it because the seller had 100% positive feedback. The 09 LX's are amazing! I owned the original sidekick 3 and that thing was a tank - I fully dropped it in water 3 times and its still worked! Brand is high quality and always get the most out of their phones. The LX's screen quality and quickness are great - couldn't ask for anything better! (Except maybe something to help me not drop and hurt it! haha ;] )

) I got this latest sidekick phone for my kid, he been a long time sidekick faithful user of this device for the previous models.
He just fell in love with it, the screen is awesone, the new features like the gps, new camara, the internet work faster.
I personaly wouldn't use this cell, but your early teen will love it.

This is a great phone, it has a big screen, so you can see everything clearly and not all crunched up together, its great for the internet if you have the unlimited plan. The keyboard is spaced out so you don't mash more than one button at once when you are texting, this phone is a all around good phone.

do not purchase from this sellerI was supposed to receive a refund of $295.00 for a product that I purchased and did not receive. The seller did not have enough funds in his pay-pal account. Pay-pal decided in my favor in a dispute however there was not any money in the account to refund me. Be very careful purchasing through e-bay.

The Sidekick LX 2009 , is great addition to the sidekick family. Although the phone is a bit laggy at some moments and the Download catalog isnt working right now. It still is a great phone for communication and keeping in touch with your friends and doing it in style GREAT PHONE GREAT STYLE!

The transaction itself went smooth of course(because this person was recieving payment!!!) The phones battery cover was completely "jacked up" meaning messed up , it was broken , it doesnt even stay on. Also the sides and the back were all scratched up ( another thing this user did not list)I was totally unsatisfied with the product and being that i paid via paypal i put in a claim rough them and ebay.....I will not be fooled with!!!!!

Well for a big man like me the sidekick 09 is perfect for keyboard spacing just like the lx before! It has video and it seems to be so much faster than sidekicks before... I have been a sidekick fan since the SK3 and have had every sidekick inbetween! This is by far the best and I will continue to buy sidekicks for as long as they keep making em'.. Only thing I find wrong is that I wish the sidekick web browser would be able to use flash player and maybe advance a lil more than just being able to use youtube.. The fact that I can make my own ringtone is great also! SIDEKICK!!!! Love em!
