Good theology/good food: Presentation is everything.
Everyone is a theologian. Some make the effort to be good theologians. Grudem's work is written / assembled to make it much easier for anyone to be a good theologian. His presentation is in common, everyday language. His treatment is logical, starting with foundational presuppositions, and building upon them. While identfying his own personal theological beliefs early on, the scope of his work encompasses most denominational distinctives. This book is perfect for anyone who wants to flesh out what they belive and why. My wife and I use it as a weekly devotional resource. We started at the beginning, and we're working our way through the chapters. This volume is also available as a searchable CD.
