The text has a good layout of the information. It covers all the important and necessary areas leaving very little if anything out of the discussion. The material is very accurate and precise. It can be depended upon.

This book is a great overview of Christian theology. This book would be great addition to any Christian's library. It will help grow one's knowledge of God, humanity, the the Bible, which will help any Christian to better understand their faith and deepen their appreciation of all that God is and has done for them. Wayne Grudem always backs up his claims with Scripture and even gives you questions and Scriptures verses for further study on your own.

There is a lot of information which I found very helpful. The perspective of the author I found to be bias. I bought the book for a graduate course in Early Christianity.

This was a great buy on this book. The fact that the corner was bent from being dropped was really not a problem. The rest of the book is in perfect condition, just as described!

This book is excellent! Anyone who is serious about understanding the Bible, and knowing what they believe about biblical doctrine should read this book. It answers questions that I've always wanted to know. Wayne Grudem is thorough, and covers all sides of an issues, not just his own opinion. He even includes a hymn at the end of each chapter, because truth leads us to praise. This book certainly does that. I think every Christian should study this book!

This book has been an excellent resource in our church. As a pastor, I am currently using this book to ground the men of our church in solid theology. It is well written and easy to understand. Grudem familiarizes his readers with all of the positions that are held by evangelical theologians and he shows the reasoning and logic behind each. He does not force his reader into a certain theological position but allows them to look at all the evidence and make an informed decision. He takes a positions on the topics, but he allows for other views. This is a great resource for the pastor and the layman alike.

I have praying for God to help me find more resources to learn more about him and striving to find out how the Bible can be used in this generation, TODAY! Three of my friends mentioned this book. I began to read it and Grudem explains that and much more within this book. He breaks down how we can understand the Bible, use the Bible today and this book helps when one is trying to explain or answer questions to others about Jesus and who he is in simple terms. I will say Grudem is not the greatest preacher but he is an awesome Philosopher. I would highly recommend this book for anyone who is seeking to understand who God and Jesus is, what the Bible is all about, and how we can use it Today.

His presentation is in common, everyday language. His treatment is logical, starting with foundational presuppositions, and building upon them. While identfying his own personal theological beliefs early on, the scope of his work encompasses most denominational distinctives. This book is perfect for anyone who wants to flesh out what they belive and why. My wife and I use it as a weekly devotional resource. We started at the beginning, and we're working our way through the chapters. This volume is also available as a searchable CD.
