    This anthology by Marion Zimmer Bradley is just short of wonderful! The stories all involve women who are engaged in swords or sorcery. This 11th in the series is one of the best yet. Once more read about Bera the Voelva and other familiar characters. Meet new ones and read wonderful new (then) writers. Discover some of your favorite authors old stories. Most of these writers are now on the shelves with novels of thier own. Magical gifts to accept or ignore, learn how to handle snoots, bad luck and curses and twists on old tales. This book has something for everyone.

    I highly recomend this book if you enjoy fantasy. It is not long enough. You will become addicted to the series and read the stories over and over again. It's a shame this series ended with Marion's death.
