This book is one in a series of 21 books. The stories are short and often funny. You will want to read every book in the series. Each book has a theme - beasts, shapeshifters, etc. The book well combines magic and swordfighting, often in the same story. The story format allows you to put this book down, though you won't want to. Every volume has ended before I want it to.
I have everyone of these books and have often read books by the authors that are mentioned in the biography of each author. If you like fantasy, magic and sword fighting - this series is for you. I have read the books over and over - you'll always find something you missed in th previous reading.
I found all my books on eBay. Why don't you buy one now? Lokk over in the right hand sidebar and you can find a volume to start YOUR collection with. Do it today.
Many of these stories and others like them have the "White Christ" replacing the goddess. However, the "White Christ" has been around longer and supersedes any god or goddess created by man. Jesus was with God in the beginning - before the world was created. As a strong Christian, I am able to read these books as what they are TOTAL FANTASY. If you are a new believer, I recommend you do not read books of this type. Wait till you are "chewing the meat" of the Bible before reading Fantasy books. I hope my reviews do not give you the impression I am anything but Christian reading for enjoyment only. I do not believe these stories or the man created gods and goddess in these books. I believe in and serve the Risen Savior and His Father.
