This book was an excellent read about the author's amazing open water swimming career. Her accomplishments are what many proclaimed to be impossible. She takes the reader through planning her swims, meeting new people, her feelings during the swims, the challenging water conditions, and so on. Lynne Cox's achievements not only enabled her to make her dreams real but also made a lasting impact on the people who witnessed these swims.
