Reviews I still haven't recieved the product after a month. I contacted them and they said it was returned and I was suppose to get ahold of them. I have tried to get ahold of them and have not had any success.I have payed for it but have no movie. I have never had a bad experience with a e-bay sale until now. I am very disappointed that the seller is so hard to get ahold of. Review ID: 10000000007766451 Was this review helpful? Report this review 1 of 1 people found this review helpful. Movie is worth watching, that is for sure-- the bathtub part could be skipped, but it really doesn't show much. I was touched by the message, but did have a hard time with the accents at times-- you have to listen pretty close. The movie really draws you in on the struggle that is going on in the movie by going back and forth through the years. Again, worth taking the time to see. This love story was filmed here in Western Minnesota and gives the viewer a feel for the beautiful wide-open spaces those of us who live here enjoy! It is the tale of a German mail-order bride trying to gain acceptance in an area dominated by Scandinavians. Don't buy it if you're looking for action...but buy it if you are looking for a nice love story with a plot never before seen. Review ID: 10000000004292182 Was this review helpful? The anti-German hysteria and how it affected a family echos what some of my family also experienced. The couple's triumph over prejudice, unfair laws and public opinion is a triumph of the power of love. Review ID: 10000000004134214 Was this review helpful? Report this review |
