I like this 2CD set a great deal. Elvis decided to record this in Memphis in 1969 about a year after his great 1968 comeback. The thing I like most about these recordings is that the band is really tight and Elvis appears to be really loose and having a lot of fun working the songs as only he could. It was amazing what he could do with his voice and his interpretations of songs on this CD are one of a kind. Listening to Elvis on this CD confirms his status as the "King". Great songs sung by a great singer!! In my opinion, this may have been his last great studio album.
