I read this story with my book club. The story started out very well with the main character thinking about the "what if" scenarios in her life. We all can relate to that. About 3/4 of the way through the book, the story takes some unexpected turns to keep the reader interested, however, becomes a little on the unbelievable side. The ending did wrap things up with a "little red bow", but was very unlikely to really happen to most people. I think the author should have kept the story more on a realistic side and should have explored the emotional/mental issues of the main character instead of turning the story into a "grand adventure" which wasnt likely to happen in the life of an average woman. Still, it was a pleasant read with easy dialogue and some mother/daughter conflict that women can relate to.
