Air crash survivor

After an air crash, Peter DeLeo spent 13 days struggling through the snowy Sierras to get help. He was badly injured - 16 broken bones - but determined to fetch assistance for two friends still at the crash site. His story is an unflinching account of heroic proportions, a gripping tale of the tenacity of the human spirit that stands head and shoulders above most books of this genre.
I came away wondering how many people could do what DeLeo did. It's a book you discuss with friends, and marvel at the story.
