This is sad at times, with cresendos of JOY ! ( One terrible school - ) but Joy comes when it's not the Goal - rather as a by-product . . . Lewis is a word-smith - and this auto-bio flows. Easy to read.

) I read over 150 pages before I threw it in the trash. To me, there was way too much detail in his reminiscing of his childhood days. Too many references to ancient authors that I had never heard of. Too many references to places and things I was unfamiliar with. I didn't get it at all.
