Surgical Technology for the Surgical Technologist by Association of Surgical Technologists (2003, Hardcover)

I have worked in an operating room for over a dozen years. Technology and techniques for procedures have changed at a rapid rate since I began my career and I felt a need to find a reference guide to keep my scrub and circulator skills up to date. This textbook is illustrated, concise, and indexed/annotated--these attributes come in handy when you are in an operating room.

I have not compared this text with other reference sources, this text is useful for my needs. It was published several years ago and did include an appended booklet for newer procedures which is appreciated.

great book. i have taken the surgical tech course about 16 years ago and i wish i had this book back then. i am furthering my education and this book is an asset to my studies

I really lucked up on finding this book for such a great price. A new one costs about $120.00. I got it for my boyfriend so he can take the state exam and get a raise. And that means I get to shop on eBay more often! Smile
