This is one of the best animated movies ever made! Too bad it followed so many other penguin movies. Our family didn't see it at the theater because we, like many others, just had no desire to see someone else making a cute movie to tell our kids that man is destroying the environment.....Boy were we wrong! This movie has none of that. It takes on the surfing world like a documentary ala STEP INTO LIQUID and nails it! Funny, well written, fantastic animation, and amazing how spot on they did water effects. Get it on Blu-ray and be truely amazed. You will watch this one over & over again --- so will the kids!

Join Cody Maverick (Shia LaBeouf) in his ultimate dream to compete in the Big Z Memorial surfing challenge!Cody lives in Shiverpool, Antarctica and travels to the warm island of Pen Gu.While traveling to this new island Cody meets a few new friends on the whale ride over to the island.Another newcomer challenger is Chicken Joe (Jon Heder), who is absolutely hilarious!Once on this new island Cody then spots a beautiful lifeguard penguin Lani (Zooey Deschanel),who he instantly starts to have a crush on.Almost instantly Cody butts heads with Tank Evana (Diedrich Bader)who is a nine times champion.When Tank starts putting down the Big Z, who is Codys hero, Cody challenges Tank to a surf challenge.Cody gets beat by Tank in a humilating challenge round, and bumps his head on the bottom ocean floor.Lani swims to rescue him and still unconscious takes him to a secret place to get him help.There he meets Zeek (Jeff Bridges) an old washed up surfer, who helps him.At first the two dont see eye to eye then slowly get to know one another better and become friends.Zeek teaches Cody how to make a surfboard and gives him some pricesless lessons.Not only does Cody need Zeek, but Zeek also needs Cody to bring him out of his secluded lifestyle.Soon Cody realizes that Zeek is not who he seems to be, and learns of Zeek's secret.This is a very cute movie, with great special effects to make the waves and water look very real!

My kids love it and it's entertaining to adults as well. The animation is excellent. The voice overs have been perfectly matched with the animated characters.

movies was great, loved the detail it had on blu ray, the story line was great. kept you entertained, for for kids 8-13 in my opinion

I bought this movie because I have my 4 year old cousin over all the time and movies are the only way that capture his attention. Additionally, I bought it on Blu-Ray to expand my collection after getting a PS3. This is a great family movie. Everyone in the family is sure to enjoy it. The picture looks amazing in 1080p!

I decided to buy this movie primarily for my two young boys and because it was a blu ray disc. The boys loved the movie and it looks great in high definition. I would recommend it to anyone that has young ones and likes to laugh!

This movie reminded me of Happy Feet. Surf's up is very inspiring and teaches us never to let go of our dreams. A movie the whole family will enjoy.

As a Collector and super fan of Disney I really wanted to get this movie. The price on ebay is amazing for this movie add the fact that this on Blu-Ray. The movie is amazing and so are all the behind the sceens excerpts. If your a fan of Disney or looking for a great movie to watch with the entire family around the holidays then surf's up dude cause this is a great movie. Also It's got an amazing soundtrack full of great songs that fit the theme of the movie perfect.

this movie sucks realy bad dont buy it the blu-ray version sucks i dont know what the hell they are thinking releasing this crappy ass movie. dont buy it dont waist your money if you want give me your money and know that atleast i will buy something worth buying. this movie is a .5 out of 10. not kidding

I bought this movie for my 5 year old nephew. He loves the movie. To me, it's just another kid's movie. Nothing is wrong with the movie, but I just had a difficult time staying interested. It does look great on blu-ray and a high definition television.

This is a great movie for kids and adults alike. A relaxing Pixar vacation to the beach. Great voice actors, great story, good extras. Worth the money.

Surf's Up is a very cool movie! Total Fun, it's by far our favorite movie! We can't see how anyone could not like this movie! It's not just for kids. We don't even have kids!

Rich with humor and brilliance, it's a work of art. But fine art isn't appreciated by everyone. Real Pro Surfers (very cool dudes) helped make the movie to give the waves and water more realisn. They nailed it! And the music is awesome! (Green Day, Drive, Pearl Jam, etc.) It gets better and better as the movie progresses.

The animation is incredible, totally lifelike! Like an IMAX movie, Surf's Up actually puts you on the surfboard and inside the curl of the wave as it goes up over your head! Something most people will never get to experience in real life. You can easily feel how surfers get hooked on the sport after watching Surf's Up, especially the last surfing scene of the movie with Big Z and Cody inside the tube.

Breathtaking color and animation! Jeff Bridges and Shia LaBeouf are riveting as Big Z and Cody. Don't miss it!

I think this is just another well made cartoon that didn't get the attention it deserved.

Probably, but it is surely enough for the entire family to enjoy.

Surf's up wasn't the greatest movie, I guess I expected to be as funny as some of the other animated movies. Don't get me wrong it had it's moments but I would have been better off renting this one!

My family loves children movies so I just assumed to purschase this movie. It was not a very good one. It did not keep my nephew or neice's attention who's ages range from 1 1/2 yrs old up to 5yrs old. Not even the other older children ages 8 and up were interested in the movie. I was sad to know that I wasted my money...

I bought the NewPhone 74205 three weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. It has a 1M-pixel camera, video camera, and speakerphone. The NewPhone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours.
