Support Your Local Gunfighter (DVD, 2009, Western Legends)

Purchased the video as a gift. The gift is part of a collection video on James Gardner and the many movies he has filmed.

James Garner is always a plus in any movie. He is again a delight in this western that doesn't take itself seriously. For a relaxing, fun movie anyone can watch, this is it.

i am very happy with the movie. i think it's a good buy. i have no complaint. except that it requires me to make such a long comment. it annoys me.

This is a "classic" I remember from my youth. It's a comedy-western that you can share with your family. You'll recognize not only James Garner, but also others such as Suzanne Pleshette, Jack Elam, Harry Morgan, and others.

Wore out our copy on VHS...had to get it on DVD. A fun movie to watch over and over and over again!!!

I bought the video to have an opportunity to share some movie time with my teenage kids and without the profanity and other things that make me feel uncomfortable. The fact that these old movies are now being offered on DVD is a good thing. I would recommend it especially to any James Garner fan.

I am not a fan of older movies but this one is funny.I bought this movie for a friend who enjoys random moives. This is a good pick for just that.

If you liked Support your Local Sheriff you will enjoy this movie as well. It's alot like the first movie with a few twists but overall another good James Garner movie to enjoy.

it was a great movie. i own the other one and decided i needed to get the other. it was fun and funny, i enjoyed it very much. i would recomemd it to anyone, expecially if they are into westerns.

I am a big James Garner fan, and wanted a light-hearted comedy. Jack Elam also delivers a wonderful performance. I remember watching this as a kid. Wonderful nostalgic memory. Also wanted to see how this movie was similar/different to Support your Local Sheriff.

This is the kind of movie that gives a continual chuckle. James Garner, and his deputy Jack Elam, remind one of Laurel and Hardy, Dean and Martin, etc.
It is set in the old west, with James Garner (Jason Mc Cullough) pretending to be a gunfighter, hired my one of the miner's to keep "removing" his competition. The real gunfighter comes to town to claim his name.
This is an old movie, but a goodie.:-)

I already knew about this movie and decided that the easiest way to aquire it was on the internet. I did an ebay search, for by it now copies, this was the best price. The delivery was resonable and it arrived very quickly. I was very happy with the customer service related to this purchase.

I have always liked any movie with James Garner and this was no exception. It was funny and I lent it to my grandson telling him it was western comedy.
