The Supper of the Lamb by Robert Farrar Capon (1979, Paperback)

This was my second copy of this interesting and funny book. My first copy fell apart from use. The book is primarily about food - taking a leg of lamb to it's greatest heights - but is also full of wit, wisdom, good advice and some great recipes. I especially treasure the auther's parting gift - a recipe for "Punsch", a volatile after-dinner drink that my family has taken to calling "Papa's Recipe". The book may well be out of print, so I was delighted to find a copy on eBay.
