Movie Description Shannon portrays Mary Katherine Gallagher, the terminally bumbling, energy-stuffed Catholic schoolgirl whose one wish is to kiss Sky (Ferrell), the hunkiest fella at St. Monica's High School. Mary Katherine thinks her only chance at stealing Sky away from his gorgeous girlfriend Evian (Hendrix) is to become a star, and her only chance at accomplishing this task is by entering St. Monica's talent contest and winning a role as an extra in a Catholic-approved, morally-correct movie. McCulloch's film is, like most Saturday Night Live-big screen adaptations, more a series of loose sketches that keep the viewer laughing throughout.
