Superman: The Animated Series - Vol. 1 (DVD, 2004)

Very good. If you enjoyed Batman: TAS, you will enjoy this. It isn't as dark as Batman, but Superman never is. Tim Daly is very good as Superman and I wish he would have voiced him in the Justice League series.

The first season of a great series. Must have for Superman fans of course. Great for the whole family. The only problem is they use some of the same actors in different roles. Still love it anyway though and highly recommend it. 5/5

I love this series its just as good as the Batman animated series! And I bought it because I am a huge superman geek!

This was the perfect beginner DVD for a brand new superman fan (age 5, who only knows superman is one of the good guys!) it explains Superman’s origin and introduces you to his famous enemies. It may not be for every child because some of the “bad guys” are pretty scary but no nightmares from my crew, because superman always defeats the bad guys!

My husband loves Superman and it was a Father's day present. It was hard to find for a good price for our budget. It came in a very good condition. I will keep buying from this seller when we may need another movie. Thank you very much!

This one may be my favorite volume of the three. "SUPERMAN":the animated series
volume 1. In my opinion this first season was more fun than the last two. I think It stole my heart by starting the series on Krypton(Supermans home planet). The whole three part opener; "The last son of Kryton" was just terrific, it had a real Christopher Reeve feel to it. With that aside I think the action sequences are better too. Though I recommend you buy the entire 54 episode series, in three volumes so you can see for yourself! Folks, there has never been a better take on Superman in my opinion. So buy with confidence!!!
