The ultimate supercar
It is amazing that you can buy a car of this quality and performance for one third the price of a mundane daily driver. This one has been taken care of and has lived a pretty easy life so it is in good shape inside and out at 43,000 miles. The Oz rims are still in perfect shape and the original leather interior is excellent, along with the exterior finish. Not quite as much pazzaz as my Ferrari 328 GTS but 1/4 the price. Not quite as fast as my Porsche 930 Turbo but 1/3 the price. Pretty amazing for a 2.2 liter 4 cylinder. Collin Chapman really knew what he was doing. Fortunately I have experienced an MGB, a TR6, a TR7, and a TR8 and do all the work on them, so I understand and expect the English mantra of drive a day and work on it for a day. So far not true for the Esprit, but at least I am ready and able when it happens. It's by far the best deal of any car I own.
