  Good for children. Not me.

Ok, maybe this game might be reviewed as "Good" for or by a child... ME being 27 years old, I'd have to say it is average at most. I had more fun with Mario on NES. It seems more geared towards children, but for some reason they rated it "E" for everybody. If you are around my age, I would reccomend to seek a different type of game.

Wii is innovative, and modern. The graphics of this game on the Wii are however lacking. They added a new 3-D mode to this Wii version, it honestly isn't that impressive. When you go into 3D, their is only a few seconds worth of timer to actually enjoy seeing it in 3-D. It forces you to play 2D the majority of the time. In 3-D mode, all you basically do is walk easily down the side of the screen, avoiding the now sideways 2-d stick looking objects. The game has too much speech and talking.. The first hour is all talking mainly. Their is no way to skip the speeches.

This game doesn't even really use the full potential of the Wii innovative controller. You basically hold the controller on the side and use it like an old NES controller. Then when you can't go on, it is so obvious.. point the controller at the screen and a magic pixie finds a hidden door. It's something new that they added.

I'd says it is a safe bet to buy it for you children under 15, you may enjoy playing with them also. Wii is about bringing together family, etc. If you are buying it for yourself and are over 20, I wouldn't suggest this game.

It is 2007, not 1985. In 1985 NES had nearly the same games if not better, and motion sensing controllers etc.. Like the gyro, light gun, track and field pad, etc.. Their is nothing new here, this is all old, just reproduced. Wii combined the NES controller and light gun from 1985, and now in 2007 calls it an innovative Wii Mote and numchuck!
