Super Nintendo Entertainment System - Game console

Of all the systems available - Super Nintendo (Super NES) is hands down my favorite... and eBay has tons of them available and fantastic prices - and all of the great games available.

Its hard to imagine how revolutionary this system was just a few years ago - as XBOX 360 and others come along, the graphics are so advanced and the games have progressed and completely morphed into full environments. But Super Nintendo combined decent graphics (cutting edge at the time - satisfactory now) with fantastic gameplay. Whereas I become bored playing most current games for more than a few repetitions - games like Mario Kart and Super Mario Brothers IV are staples of great gaming, can be played time and time again, and were the foundation for most of the classics that are still played by serious gamers.

Best of all, Super Nintendo enables great social gameplay. Games like Mario Tennis and Mario Kart are ideal for party setting or a beer & games night.

There is also something very satisfying about the nostalgia of playing Super Nintendo and the classic games... that nostalgia has also made for excellent supply on eBay and the ability to buy games in the $2.50 - $10.00 range. Games that are must includes in any collection:

I just love this because I played it as a child and have a lot of memories playing with my brother and sister!

This is a great system. I know that is does not compare this the modern systems now and days but this system has some great games. It has some great multiplayer games that are fun for everyone. I decided to buy the system because I love to play the games for the system.

I asked for the Sega Genesis for one reason. Well, my mom bought it for me for that reason; X-men.
I love it at first... I loved the blood, well compared to green it was tuff ( Mortal Kombat)..
But, that was the good part, yes, there are several excellent games for the Genesis, but the SNES exceeds in several aspests.
I had a Genesis, but I don't wish I grew up a "SNES" kid, but I give it the ultimate replay valued machine that requires the least amount of maintience.

If you need to play a Mario Game, the super nintendo has it. The SNS has great vintage game so take advantage and buy ONE!!!!

Depending on what side you are on in the console wars; you have to agree that the SNES shines in the light of retro gaming. It's library is not just huge (700+ titles including all regions) it is full of quality gaming from every genre. Many find it difficult to even put down a top 100 list!

If you were not lucky enough to enjoy the SNES as a child it is still not too late to go back to the roots of gaming with this wonderful system; just be ready to smack down a pretty penny for some of the more rare classics. (Chrono Trigger I'm looking at you) Favorites like Mario World; Street Fighter, Samurai Shodown, Super Metroid, and Zelda are decently easy to stumble upon.

Came in perfectly fine. My only thing was I wanted black as the color but oh well. It works fine and I'm plenty pleased with the compatibility. I was able to play my old Mortal Kombat II with the only hitch being I had to get the dust out of the game itself. The system is perfect if you prefer or even just like the older games.

Liked the fact that the system works. Seller failed to mention that the power plugin prong was badly bent, nowhere close to fitting into a wall plugin. Luckily I could bend the prong without breaking it, to working order. Otherwise, description was accurate. The item took 16 days to receive. Overall, the system NOW works with my aid to the power prongs, and came with all items the description stated in the auction. Price was VERY decent.

I bought the super Nintendo, for the game called Earthbound(which i have already bought), and love it!! The person who sold this to me gave it to me in perfect condition, and was well worth the $40!!!

i wanted the system that i used to play with with my son,hours of enjoyment was had by all.the system i received is in excellent condition and was shipped fast.the price was fair too.i look forward to the hours of enjoyment, just a great game era back in the day.

It came on time, which was nice. The system works just fine and one of the controllers works. The original SNES controller does not work at all, which is a shame due to all of the multi-player games I have for the system.

I like that the games are cheap compared to the new systems out today. The graphics are wack, but it's understandable because the system is old. It has addictive games such as super mario all stars.
